The Studio-Pod and You…

In April, I finally closed down the Studio at Dundonald –  after many years of providing real professional photography to literally thousands of families and businesses. But you can still visit my newly built Studio Pod at Ballygowan for pets, babies, passport photos, product shots, headshots etc etc.  It’s not a full sized studio by any means, not even big enough for a decent family group, but it will serve its purposes very well.  It’s all fully insulated, with heating and air-conditioning built in, double glazed and wired.

Book a visit and see for yourself!

When You Pod – POD SAFELY!

For your safety:

The Government allowed Non-Essential Business to reopen from 15th June.  You are WELCOME to book a visit to our new Studio-Pod at Ballygowan.  But we still want you to be safe, and to follow guidelines on social distancing.

  • The Pod is only used for ONE BOOKING every 48 hours, while Coronavirus is still a threat.
  • Please be aware that access to the Pod is across an uneven path and up a steep(ish) step.
  • There are no PUBLIC TOILET FACILITIES at the Pod, and due to Covid-19 regulations entry to the dwelling house is not permitted.  Because of this we will keep your session as short as possible.
  • Before you come, the laminate floor is disinfected and sterilised.
  • If you have any symptoms – lose of smell or taste, persistent dry cough or high temperature, – PLEASE REMAIN AT HOME and reschedule your booking.
  • During your visit:
    • Please use the hand-steriliser provided.
    • Disposable masks and gloves are available – please ask if you’d like to use them.
    • If you want the photographer to wear a mask please just say so.
    • The photographer will remain at a distance during the session and will only give verbal advice for posing.
    • Since studio space is restricted please only bring baby, and one adult, during the Coronavirus pandemic.  Second parent can be seated outside, or remain in car until needed.  For family sessions, please ring first for advice.
    • For adult sessions, head-shots, portraits etc, two adults max, – any more – please ring first to discuss.
    • Weather permitting the doors to the Pod will remain open during your session, to allow air to freely circulate.
  • After you leave, fabrics are washed, and props are disinfected.
  • You will not have to return for viewing at this time.  Instead we will provide you with an on-line gallery, at no cost to your self (usual cost £20)

BOOK NOW and Get your event or product / personnel shoot into the diary for later in the year.

Q. I have a ‘Baby’s First Year’ Package, and the Coronavirus has interrupted my sessions.  What can I do?

A. Don’t panic!  You have two options.

  1. You can book the Studio-Pod at Ballygowan.  This is a properly equipped small professional studio at our home at Ballygowan.  It’s outdoors, so you don’t have to enter the house.  Weather permitting the doors of the Pod can be left open, so fresh air is circulating.
  2. If you have one or two more sessions to complete your deal (and I really want you to complete your deal) we’ll book EXTRA occasions for you to get you to the three sessions needed – for example SECOND BIRTHDAY OR STARTING NURSERY etc.  We’ll make it work for you.
  3. You can TRANSFER your booking to another deal.  This will be especially helpful for clients who are on a ‘Living Social’ or ‘Wowcher’ deal.  For example, you could switch to a ‘Portrait Package,’ previously offered by Groupon at £9, with one visit and a 10×8 inch print. The value is the same as the Baby’s First Year deal.  However, your ‘Baby’s First Year’ Groupon or Wowcher deal does not cover three prints from one or two sittings.

Whichever you decide, it is entirely your choice.  If you would like more information, just phone 07802466302 for a chat.
