St Andrews Church (Church of Ireland) Balligan, near Ballywalter, Co.Down, on a bleak midwinter day.

Built in 1704, the church became famous for choral recitals and classical music, and was a popular venue. Choral Evensong was held on two Sundays each month until fairly recently.

I had intended to photograph it with film, using the Nikon FM3a, and Ilford HP5 ISO400, pushed one stop to 800, but due to parked vehicles in front of the church, I was unable to get a clear view with my 35-70mm Nikon zoom, so I reverted to digital, using the Fujifilm X-T5, and a wide angle zoom, at.12.5mm. Aperture was f/11 @ 1/125th sec on ISO1600 using Acros B&W film simulation.
