Old Memories Brought Back To Life!

Have you got old photographs, hidden in a shoe box under the stairs or in the attic? Prints, slides or negatives – they may all contain memories of loved ones from bygone years.

Don’t leave them to deteriorate. Photo restoration is usually possible no matter how badly deteriorated the original print may be.

This project was a photo taken away back around 1940, framed and hanging for many years it had been left to fade away in a cupboard, until someone discovered it and decided it was worth restoring and preserving. Here’s the progress:-

The original photo was stripped from its frame, and because it was too big to do in the scanner, it was photographed professionally under even ambient light.

Here’s our 16×14 inch working file – restored and repaired and a few bits and pieces added digitally to fill out the image. and now, off to the framers…
