Out for a walk in the spring sunshine a few days ago I noticed that the doors of the local RC Church, here in Portstewart were open, and no services scheduled, so I ventured inside with the Fujifilm X-T50 camera.
It’s still the Easter season in Catholic circles, (The rest of us have probably gone well past Easter and are thinking about summer holidays!), so this draped cross was still standing in the foyer.
The interior is typical catholic, with a high altar at the front. What puzzled me was the dark, seemingly shapeless object at the front – which on closer inspection proved to be a model of the empty tomb, with the rolled-away stone beside it.
The outside of the building.
