Greyhounds are fantastic dogs, and they make really sweet pets. Very often they are raced to exhaustion and then destroyed when they can race no more, but there are lots of rescued greyhounds living as pets in people’s homes, and enjoying life to the full. They are so quiet and companionable, and they just love human company.
Today Flint, a rescued Greyhound came with his owners to our Dundonald studio to pose for the camera and to enter the Pet Portrait Awards in support of Dogs Trust.

Marley is the most cuddly, adorable, wee bundle of scruffy fluff we’ve seen for a long time! He’s a Cockerdoodle! Today he brought his human family to Dundonald to pose for the camera at his own personal Photoshoot.
Here’s TED the Shitzu – who visited our studio today with his human ‘minders’ Emma and Aaron, for his special photoshoot! We had a great time and Ted could well qualify as the very best behaved little dog in the whole world!

On Saturday this lovely lady, Cassie (a Golden Retriever Granny) brought her daughter (Ellie) and her granddaughter (Lola) into our Dundonald Studio for a very special photoshoot – a Doggy ‘Mother and Daughter’ event for Mother’s Day!
Dogs are smart! Sometimes smarter than we give them credit for. You’ll sometimes hear someone saying, “That dog has me wrapped round his paw – he knows how to get his own way!” Quite honestly, your dog often knows very well how to manipulate you to get what he wants. Just think of that expression he uses when you’re eating and he wants share, or the way he brings the ball to you to encourage you to play. Dogs are masters of persuasion.
