Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my pleasure to introduce you to the adorable, affectionate MILLIE! Millie recently visited our Studio at Dundonald for her portrait sitting to support #DogsTrust, and enter the prestigious #PetPortraitAwards with a national prize of £1000, and local prizes too!
Saturday 9th July – and we had two great wee doggy friends in the studio for the Pet Portrait Awards on behalf of Dogs Trust, Bailey the Scottie and Holly the Lhasa Apso.
Bailey came first! She’s just two, and full of life and – jet black! So getting the Nikon Df camera to focus on her was a bit of a challenge! But we managed, and with some prompting from her humans, and a few special treats she was a real star.
Here she is…
Next came Holly. Holly is an eleven year old Maltese Cross, with sore knees – but she’s so happy and friendly! And what a poser!
Driving along the Ballycowan Road at #Ballymena today when I met these friendly ponies in a field beside the road. One of them was obliging enough to allow me to make a photograph.
I decided to go for an exaggerated bokeh effect, so I selected a 80-210 zoom for the Nikon D610 camera, choose 100 ISO and f/2.8, with a shutter speed of 1/1000th sec. (It was a bright day). The vignetting effect was added in Photoshop.
