Not all children can sit still and pose. Here at Portraits2Go.co.uk we don’t think that is a problem. In fact most of the time we prefer the images of the tiny tearaways playing and having fun.
Those candid moments when they are chilled and enjoying themselves are frequently the ones that really capture their personality.
So, don’t stress if you think your youngster won’t have the patience, we do! We’ll take the time to set them up to enjoy themselves. You will have pictures of your youngsters as they are and as you will remember them.
To be honest, it’s not often that the average working photographer gets to work with a real, successful model. So you can imagine how thrilling it was when I discovered that the girl in front of my camera today had starred in commercials, had been in videos with popular music bands, and was well accustomed to posing for the crowds! So here she is, photographed by yours truly – none other than professional model Miss Mary M’Lovely.
Isn’t she just gorgeous! Star of stage, screen, studio and the catwalk – erm, maybe not the CATwalk!
On a recent visit to the North Coast (of Ireland) I visited the town of Portrush, and made some images of the local Methodist Church there. Why so? Because of its name! This church is named for the learned Bible commentator Dr Adam Clarke.
Adam Clarke was born in 1760 near Tobermore, and died of Cholera in Westminster, London in 1832. Clarke’s greatest work was his Bible Commentary, which was to be a standard theological text among Methodists for around 200 years. Continue reading Dr Adam Clarke→
The best way to burn off one or two of those Christmas Day calories is by taking a good walk on Boxing Day, and on this Boxing Day, 2018, the sun was shining in Belfast, and I was visiting a family in Sydenham, and where better for a walk after my visit than Victoria Park, one of Belfast’s legendary green spaces in the industrial landscape.
