They create interest and make a baby shoot irresistible! I found this wooden boat in a new shop in Belfast and immediately I thought it was well worth the £25 or so that it cost!
Combine it with a green backdrop and a couple of lights in the studio and it’s a great asset! And young Arlo here seems to be enjoying it too!
A visit to Kellswater in Co Antrim.
Kellswater Reformed Presbyterian Church, near Ballymena, Co.Antrim. Built in traditional ‘barn’ shape in 1806. The congregation dates to 1760 making it the first RP Congregation in Ireland, and still singing only the Scottish Metrical Psalms in worship.
Tiger’s Bay – a working class area in North Belfast, now rebuilt as a modern housing estate. The streets give a view over the harbour and shipyard areas of the city. I visited the area on a sunny winter day with my Nikon F100, loaded with Ilford Delta 100.

Baby James visited the studio today with Mummy and Daddy to pose for the camera. It’s his third visit as part of his ‘Baby’s First Year’ photography package. What amazing childhood memories!
Completed in 2009, the ‘Abandoned Agriculture Project’ was part of an exhibition of photographic work by local photographers in the ‘Curve Gallery’ at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast.

For most children weddings actually turn out to be very boring – they get bored, tired, crotchety and downright grumpy. Now whether you care about the kids or not, think about their parents too. Now option one is to have a no children wedding – lots of people do and as far as I can see parents are very happy to have a day (and a night) out without their children.

Victoria Square, Belfast
Some ten years ago, the old Victoria Square in Belfast, a drab Victorian street in the south quarter of the city centre with factory and office buildings, and a non-functioning metal fountain in the centre, was demolished and replaced by an ultra modern shopping complex, featuring multinational stores, cinemas and restaurants, residential apartments, bars and leisure, easy parking, and easy access to the streets of Belfast.
